MPCB Consent & Legal Compliance

We prepare, file and follow up your MPCB consent applications so your unit can start, expand and keep running without legal interruptions.

Quick answer

Every industry or project in Maharashtra that discharges effluent, emits air pollutants or generates hazardous waste needs MPCB consent: Consent to Establish (CTE) before construction and Consent to Operate (CTO) before production, renewed before expiry. Aaradhya Enviro prepares, files and follows up these applications and tracks consent conditions for units across Maharashtra.

Overview

Every industry, hospital, hotel, large building project or commercial establishment in Maharashtra that discharges effluent, emits air pollutants or generates hazardous waste needs consent from the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB). Consent to Establish (CTE) is required before construction or expansion, and Consent to Operate (CTO) is required before production begins. Both must be renewed and kept current.

Consent applications are rejected or delayed most often because of incomplete documents, a wrong category, missing treatment details or a mismatch between declared and actual capacity. Our team handles the complete process: category assessment, documentation, online filing, replies to MPCB queries, site-visit preparation and follow-up until the consent order is issued. We also keep track of your consent conditions and renewal dates.

FAQ

MPCB Consent & Legal Compliance: frequently asked questions

What is the difference between CTE and CTO?
Consent to Establish (CTE) is taken before you construct or expand the unit. Consent to Operate (CTO) is taken after the unit and its pollution control systems are installed, before production starts. Operating without a valid CTO can lead to closure directions and penalties.
How do I know my MPCB category?
Industries are classified as Red, Orange, Green or White based on their pollution potential. The category depends on the actual process and products, not just the industry name. We check your process and confirm the correct category before filing.
How long does MPCB consent take?
It depends on category, completeness of documents and site inspection. A complete, correct application avoids most delays. We share a realistic timeline after reviewing your documents.
Can you help if my consent has expired or a notice has been issued?
Yes. We review the notice, prepare a reply with a corrective action plan and file the renewal or fresh application as required.
